Celebrating Calstock’s steamboat heyday, visitors to Calstock this summer will be able to step back in time to remember an era when this village on the banks of the River Tamar enjoyed a true heyday.
The Calstock heritage weekend will see a flotilla of steamboats moor off the pontoon at Calstock once again and mark the centrepiece of three days of celebrations.
- Ten steamboats moor at Cotehele Quay, before being towed up to their moorings just off the pontoon at Calstock.
- Calstock Parish Archives’ display of Heritage and the Tamar Valley
12.30pm Boats leave in grand style at for Weir Head, stopping at Morwellham Quay for refreshments.
